Sadie's bedhead cracks me up every morning. I love that little sweet pea!
Next up was the much anticipated breakfast: chicken and waffles. That boy has some discipline and deserved the special red plate.
Church was wonderful and so full! Ben enjoyed searching through his resurrection eggs. The Easter egg hunt was short and sweet.
Later, we dined at Carino's. Ben had...you guessed it! Chicken! I had cheese-stuffed tortelloni with a cheese sauce with extra cheese and a salad with a cheesy salad dressing....you get the point. I've missed my cheese. Later that night, I continued my cheese feast. I did not love the scale this morning, but it was oh so worth it.
My mom came for Easter weekend. We always have a great time together. We share a love for shopping and dining out! She is always a big help with the kids. Greg was working at the clinic, but Sadie honored him by saying "dada, dada" multiple times at Easter lunch!
Later, Ben begged Mom to have a confetti egg battle outside. She pretended to be disinterested, then grabbed a bunch of eggs and ran outside. Ben was sooo happy. I think Mom enjoyed smacking those eggs on my noggin a little too much (I still have a smart mouth at 34). We went through 3 dozen eggs in a few minutes! Ben was all smiles!
Today..a healthier diet and a good workout. I have to be in a bathing suit in a month. It's crunch time!
I heard a new song by Carrie Underwood today, and I just LOVE the chorus!
"This is my temporary Home
It's not where I belong
Windows and rooms that I'm passin' through
This was just a stop,on the way to where I'm going
I'm not afraid because I know this was
My temporary home."
