Not much to say about day 1 of our trip. Lots of driving, a speeding ticket, and lots of driving. You really can't get out of a ticket if you are going 77 in a 60 mph zone. Even if it's your birthday. Poor Greg. The funny thing is..we were listening to a worship song from Ben's vacation bible school cd, and we were all getting down (including Greg). Unfortunately, that caused him to put the pedal to the metal. I wanted to take a picture of the police officer, but he was a bit militant, and I didn't want to make the situation worse.
We did manage to get the servers to sing Happy Birthday to Greg. Sadie was very confused.
We were all very happy to retire to bed that evening!
