Yesterday, we traveled to Windridge to ride. The therapist would push Sadie over (riding sideways) and she pushed herself up on her right arm. Yay! Only twice, but I'll take it. That child does not want to use her arms in ANY WAY. Afterwards, we practiced some side stepping.
Poor girl has to wear jeans in this 90 degree weather! It's the rule while riding.
Next, we headed to an AMBUCS meeting where they showcased the AmTryke. We watched our chiropractor's daughter pedal around and walk in her walker. She is an AMAZING child. This girl has gone through 3 transplants, a 2 year hospitalization, and so much more. It was so inspiring. I wanted to talk to her mom for hours!
When we arrived home, Sadie decided she wanted to share an ice cream sandwich with her dad. Funny, she won't feed herself unless its dessert. She is definitely her father's child!
I do not buy such treats; Greg sneaks them home from work.
Last night, we really just relaxed and played a ton of games: Creationary (a lego board game) and Hot and Cold (outside). Then Ben chose my favorite book for bedtime: The Little House.
It was a great day!
